County reports

A 3000-block East CR 6 woman reported Tuesday afternoon someone broke into her home. The door was busted open, but nothing was missing.

A 200-block North Leonard Street caller reported the theft of headphones Wednesday morning.

Fostoria reports

Troy A. Cochran, 19, of Fostoria, was charged with selling to an underage person for an incident April 11.

Darryl D. Cain, 31, of Fostoria, was charged with domestic violence and violating a protection order Tuesday.

A caller reported a phone scam Tuesday evening. The caller said they received a call from someone who claimed to be collecting money for an unidentified police fund.

A 100-block West Jackson Street woman reported Tuesday evening her medication had been stolen.

A 200-block West Jackson Street woman reported a scam involving the IRS Wednesday afternoon.

Tiffin accident

Justin F. Hoepf, 32, of Tiffin, was cited with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, failure to control and hit-skip early Wednesday morning. A caller had reported a pick up truck went through a yard and hit a sign and a vehicle in the first block of Kensington Avenue before leaving on Wentz Street.


Tiffin firefighters were called to 30 S. Washington St. Tuesday evening for an unintentional alarm transmission.

Clinton firefighters were called to North SR 101 Wednesday afternoon for a car fire.


Tiffin EMS had one squad run Tuesday afternoon, one squad run Tuesday night and one squad run early Wednesday morning.
