Tiffin reports

Timothy M. Egbert, 37, of Alvada, was charged with disorderly conduct Sunday.

Dominic J. Cordasco, 18, of Tiffin, was charged with theft for an incident Thursday afternoon. According to police reports, a caller from Walmart, 2801 W. SR 18, reported Sunday afternoon an employee stole $900.

A first-block St. Clair Street woman reported Sunday evening two kids were throwing snowballs at her van and the windshield broke as a result.

A residential break-in was reported Sunday evening in the 200 block of Fourth Avenue. A DVD player was stolen.

County reports

Jonathan D. Mullholand, 45, of Tiffin, was charged with assault Friday.

Brittany M. Shupp, 25, of Findlay, was cited with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, driving under suspension and failure to control Saturday.

Lawrence E. Hammons, 38, of Upper Sandusky, was charged with violating a protection order and obstruction Saturday.

Wendell S. Grimes, 53, of Fostoria, was charged with domestic violence Saturday.

A caller requested a deputy Monday morning after finding what appeared to be drug paraphernalia in a closet at an 8000-block of West CR 60 residence.

The theft of four propane tanks was reported Monday morning at Rock Run Bulk Foods, 2685 W. US 224.

Fostoria reports

A 1500-block North Countyline Street woman reported Sunday evening a man who gave her a ride home about a month ago has been harassing her.

A 300-block West Center Street woman reported Sunday evening $490 was stolen from her purse. She believed her cousin may have stolen the money.

A worker from Kroger reported Sunday night a man was constantly harassing her and sending her inappropriate text messages. The man was located and arrested on active warrants out of Hancock County and Findlay Police Department.

Tiffin accident

Heather V. Holben, 44, of Tiffin, was cited with failure to control following a two-vehicle accident Monday morning in the first block of Clinton Avenue.

State Patrol

Nicole R. Sewell, 38, of North Robinson, was cited with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, failure to control and a seatbelt violation Saturday night.

Antoine M. McCoy, 35, of Fostoria, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia Wednesday.

Adam R. Costilla, 19, of Fostoria, was charged with possession of marijuana Friday.

An accident was reported Monday afternoon at US 224 and CR 19. Two people were transported to Mercy Tiffin Hospital. Further details were unavailable Monday evening.

Fostoria accidents

A man was cited with operating a vehicle while intoxicated after an accident Monday morning in the 500 block of Columbus Avenue.

A 911 caller reported Monday afternoon a vehicle was driving recklessly on Davoli Street. The caller also said the vehicle hit a fire hydrant. A person was given three citations and a misdemeanor charge for possession of marijuana.


Tiffin firefighters were called to 1714 W. Market St. Sunday afternoon for a gas leak.

Bascom fire and Kansas fire were called to Sandusky County Sunday evening for a structure fire.


Tiffin EMS had two squad runs Sunday afternoon, one squad run Sunday night and one squad run early Monday morning. An ambulance also was needed one Monday morning.

NBS fire and New Riegel EMS had a squad run early Monday morning.
