Tiffin reports

A caller in the 1600 block of West Market Street reported hearing a woman yell for help early Thursday morning. According to the report, an altercation between a man and woman had occurred. Both had bite wounds. No one involved wanted to pursue charges.

A 200-block Beechwood Drive woman reported early Thursday morning a neighbor was peeping in her windows. Police were unable to find footprints in the snow near her residence.

A first-block South Washington Street man reported a theft from his apartment Thursday morning.

A man went to the station Thursday morning to report fraudulent charges on his bank account.

County report

A woman reported Wednesday evening someone broke into her vehicle in the 100 block of Washington Street.

Fostoria reports

A caller reported early Thursday morning a vehicle tried to run down a man in the area of Lytle Street and Columbus Avenue. Police were unable to locate anyone.

A 400-block Columbus Avenue man reported Thursday morning a juvenile kept walking by his house and making motions like he was going to shoot him.


Tiffin firefighters were called to 194 Heritage Drive Wednesday afternoon for an unintentional alarm system activation.

Bascom firefighters were called to CR 592, just east of 635, Wednesday evening for an accident.


Tiffin EMS had two squad runs Wednesday afternoon, one squad run Wednesday evening and one squad run Wednesday night.

Bloomville fire and EMS had a squad run Wednesday evening.

Clinton fire had a squad run Thursday afternoon.

State Patrol

A one-vehicle accident was reported Wednesday evening on CR 592, east of SR 635. A person was transported to the hospital, but did not claim any injuries, a State Highway Patrol spokesman said.
