A caller from Walmart, 2801 W. SR 18, reported a fraudulent check Monday afternoon.

A first-block Elmer Street woman reported Monday evening her boyfriend made charges on her credit card.

An 800-block Miami Street man reported Monday night a woman stole money from him.

A manager of Sears, 710 W. Market St., reported Tuesday afternoon an employee wrote a check on a customer’s closed account.

County reports

Ronda M. Hull, 41, of Fostoria, was charged with disorderly conduct Friday.

A 1000-block North SR 635 man reported property damage Monday afternoon.

A woman was arrested Monday evening after a caller reported a woman was walking northbound on SR 53 and was weaving on and off the white line. According to the report, the woman was intoxicated.

Fostoria reports

A woman in the 1000 block of Road Drive reported Monday afternoon her husband was attacked by three dogs as he was walking their dogs. The dog warden was contacted.

A 1100-block Buckley Street man reported Monday afternoon someone stole his mailbox.

A 700-block North Main Street woman reported Monday night someone opened a door on her neighbor’s vehicle and then fled down an alley.

An employee of Circle K, 551 E. Lytle St., reported early Tuesday morning a man asked him to call police because he was in an altercation. The man requested to be transported to the emergency room.

A man reported Tuesday morning his landlord screwed a door shut on his apartment in the 800 block of South Main Street. The man was unable to enter the apartment.

A person went to the station Tuesday morning to report bad checks.

County accident

Jill K. Carroll, 52, of Republic, was charged with resisting arrest, operating a vehicle while intoxicated and failure to control after a one-vehicle accident early Tuesday morning in the area of North SR 19 and East CR 24.


Tiffin firefighters were called to 228 W. Perry St. Monday afternoon for a cooking fire that was confined to a container.

Tiffin firefighters were called to 116 Greenfield St. Monday night for an unintentional smoke detector activation.


Tiffin EMS had two squad runs Monday evening and two squad runs Tuesday morning.

Bloomville fire, Republic EMS and the Echo unit had a squad run Tuesday afternoon.
