A caller reported Saturday morning a small child was found walking alone in the 200 block of South Washington Street. According to the report, a similar incident occurred earlier in the week.

A caller in the 5000 block of North CR 15 reported Friday evening a mailbox was taken.
Vandalism to a mailbox was reported Saturday morning in the 6000 block of North TR 145.

A caller in the 8000 block of North TR 72 reported Saturday morning someone broke his windshield.

A caller in the 100 block of East Tiffin Street reported Friday afternoon someone pushed her window open and made entry to the residence. According to the report, it was unclear if anything was missing.

A 900-block Spruce St. caller reported early Saturday morning it sounded like someone was trying to get into the house. Police were unable to locate anyone, the report said.

According to a Tiffin police report, an Ohio State Patrol deputy was flagged down early Saturday morning for a pedestrian who had been struck by a vehicle on Riverbend Road. According to the report, the pedestrian was eventually located, and was not concerned about the accident.

A son, Easton Bradley Posey, was born Tuesday Sept. 17, 2013, to Julie (Gosche) and Brad Posey of Tiffin. Easton weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces, and measured 20 inches long.
Maternal grandparents are Joseph and Susan Gosche of Kansas. Paternal grandparents are Wayne and Christine Posey of Bascom. Maternal great-grandparents are Ronald and Rita Gosche of Fostoria, and Lois Ann Adams of Bradner.
