Tiffin reports

Three juveniles were arrested Monday evening at Walmart, 2801 W. SR 18, after a shoplifting incident was reported.

A man was arrested on child support warrants Monday night in the 200 block of Clay Street. An argument between a man and woman had been reported, according to the report. The man was arrested after police made entry in the residence after he had barricaded himself inside for about 10 minutes.

A 200-block Jefferson Street man reported Monday night a man went to his residence and started a fight. The man was served a trespass notice.

A 300-block North Sandusky Street man reported Tuesday morning another man had been harassing and threatening him and also ransacked his truck.

A caller from Seneca House, 781 Greenfield St., reported Tuesday afternoon a resident assaulted another resident.

County reports

Shayna E. Alloway, 21, of Green Springs, was charged with theft Thursday.

Gregory A. Zirger Jr., 26, of Burgoon, was cited with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, violating traffic lanes and traffic device violation early Monday morning.

A 100-block Baker Street man reported Monday afternoon a person threw a propane tank through his vehicle window.

A first-block East TR 1194 caller reported Monday afternoon a mountain bike had been stolen.

Jeremiah M. Keegan, 36, of Green Springs, was charged with criminal damaging Monday.

A fight was reported Monday night in the 11000 block of West SR 18. The caller reported one man involved had a knife.

A first-block East SR 18 woman reported Monday night prescription medication had been stolen.

Fostoria reports

A vehicle was reported entered Monday afternoon in the 900 block of Seneca Street.

Rocky E. Swartz, 42, of Fostoria, was charged with assault Monday.

An 800-block North Countyline Street woman reported early Tuesday morning a man took off with her cell phone and cash.

A theft was reported Tuesday morning in the 700 block of Sandusky Street.

County accident

Anthony M. Leeth, 19, of Sycamore, was transported by Sycamore EMS to Mercy Tiffin Hospital following a one-vehicle accident Sunday evening on SR 67.

State Patrol

An accident was reported Tuesday afternoon in the 6000 block of North SR 101. One person was transported to the hospital.


Green Springs fire, Republic EMS and the Echo unit were called to an accident Tuesday afternoon in the 6000 block of North SR 101. Further details were unavailable Tuesday evening.


Tiffin EMS had one squad run Monday afternoon, one squad run Monday evening, one squad run early Tuesday morning and two squad runs Tuesday morning.

Green Springs fire and EMS had a squad run Sunday night.

Kansas fire and Bascom EMS had one squad run early Tuesday morning and one squad run Tuesday morning.
