A first-block Minerva Street man reported Wednesday afternoon the theft of a flatbed utility trailer.

A drive-off of $30 in gasoline was reported from Kroger, 790 W. Market St., Wednesday afternoon.

County reports

A person reported Tuesday evening a man was in a ditch in the 5000 block of South SR 587. A person was arrested.

A 7000-block North TR 103 man reported Tuesday evening he found his home broken into.

A 5000-block West Oak Street woman reported Wednesday afternoon landscaping items were stolen from her yard.

A person reported Wednesday afternoon a possible sex offense involving a parolee in the 4000 block of East TR 122.

Fostoria reports

A woman reported Tuesday night a woman in the 1000 block of Sandusky Street was assaulted by her intoxicated boyfriend. Charges were pending.

The fire department requested an officer in the 400 block of North Town Street for assistance Tuesday night. A file was to be forwarded to the prosecutor for charges.

A 200-block West Center Street woman reported early Wednesday morning a house was vandalized.

A 200-block Hays Street woman reported Wednesday morning three cars were rummaged through. Change was taken.

A 500-block Columbus Avenue man reported Wednesday morning someone took his log splitter.

A person reported Wednesday afternoon windows were shot out with a BB gun in the 200 block of East Center Street.

Carol A. Mentzer, 56, of Tiffin, was cited with improper back/start after an accident on North Washington Street Tuesday afternoon.

A non-injury accident was reported at West Perry and Melissa streets Tuesday evening.

A non-injury accident was reported on South SR 53 Tuesday night.

State Patrol accident

A truck struck a tree on West CR 6 Tuesday evening. The driver took off running, and a passenger claimed a head injury.

Tiffin EMS had two squad runs Tuesday afternoon, two squad runs Tuesday night, one squad run early Wednesday morning and one squad run Wednesday morning.

New Riegel EMS, NBS fire and the Echo unit were put on standby Tuesday evening.

McCutchenville firefighters were called to a woman trapped in her vehicle due to high water Tuesday night.

Bettsville fire and EMS were called to a fire alarm Wednesday afternoon.
