A woman went to the station Saturday afternoon and reported someone stole her purse from her vehicle while at Hedges-Boyer Park, 491 Coe St.

A first-block Hunter Street woman reported Saturday evening a neighbor child was hitting her child.

A person in the first block of Miami Street reported Saturday evening vandalism to a vehicle.

A 200-block Mohawk Street resident reported Saturday night the theft of medicine from a vehicle.

Todd A. Groves, 43, of Tiffin, was charged with drugs-marijuana paraphernalia, drugs-possession/abuse and disorderly conduct early Saturday morning.

A first-block Miami Street woman reported early Sunday morning she was assaulted by a woman.

A woman reported early Sunday morning a man was throwing bananas at people. A banana was found at Market and Washington streets, but a person throwing bananas was not located.

Officers assisted State Highway Patrol and Seneca County Sheriff’s Office with a pursuit of a vehicle on US 224 early Sunday morning. A person was dropped off at a location, and Firelands was to pick him up.

A woman reported Sunday afternoon her laptop was stolen from the first block of Elmwood Street.

A first-block St. Clair Street girl reported Saturday afternoon her dad choked her.

Robert A. Fowler, 32, of Tiffin, was charged with disorderly conduct Sunday after an incident Saturday.

A person from the emergency room at Mercy Tiffin Hospital, 45 St. Lawrence Drive, requested an officer Saturday afternoon for a combative patient.

Fostoria reports

A 100-block North Union Street man reported Saturday evening he believed his dogs had been poisoned. One died, and two more were sick.

A woman reported Saturday evening a person witnessed a man punching a woman near a location in the 100 block of East Lytle Street.

An assault was reported Saturday night in the 1000 block of North Countyline Street. The suspect fled the area, and the victim was taken to ProMedica Fostoria Community Hospital for evaluation.

A woman reported Saturday night a woman put a dent in the door frame of her vehicle.

A 1000-block SR 587 man reported Saturday night there was damage to his vehicle’s tires and front door.

A person in the 100 block of Taft Boulevard reported Sunday morning two people were beating on each other. A man was arrested.

A 200-block Thomas Street woman reported Sunday morning her residence was broken into.

A 200-block West North Street woman reported Sunday morning her daughter was assaulted. A person was detained, an ambulance was requested and a person went to ProMedica Fostoria Community Hospital. The incident was under investigation.

Sarah M. Smith, 26, of Fostoria, was cited with failure to control after an accident on Miami Street Friday afternoon.

Roland Garcia, 39, of Tiffin, was cited with assured clear distance ahead after an accident on Circular Street Saturday afternoon.

Fostoria accidents

Anthony J. Hilvers, 28, of Carey, was cited with assured clear distance ahead after an accident at US 23 and Park Avenue June 10.

Arturo G. Costilla, 86, of Fostoria, was cited with a red light violation after an accident at South Poplar and East Lytle streets June 13.

Stephanie L. Hunker, 28, of Fostoria, was cited with disobeying a traffic control device after an accident at North Vine and Van Buren streets June 15.

Myles JE Ward, 22, of Fostoria, was cited with failure to yield at a stop sign after an accident at East Jackson and Lynn streets June 17. The other driver, Beth A. Mosley, 22, of Fostoria, was taken by Fostoria Fire Division to ProMedica Fostoria Community Hospital.

A citation of improper backing was issued after a non-injury accident on Oaklawn Avenue early Sunday morning.

Bascom fire and EMS responded to a gas line that was struck while digging Saturday morning.

Clinton fire and Tiffin EMS responded to thick smoke Saturday morning.

Bascom EMS and Bettsville fire had a squad run Saturday morning. They also had a squad run Saturday afternoon, and the Echo unit assisted.

Attica EMS, Attica-Venice-Reed fire and the Echo unit had a squad run Saturday morning and a squad run Sunday morning.

Bloomville fire and EMS had a squad run Saturday night.

Republic EMS, Green Springs fire and the Echo unit had a squad run Sunday morning.
