John E. Panuto, 22, of Tiffin, was charged with drugs-abuse instruments, drugs-possess dangerous and operating a vehicle while intoxicated Saturday afternoon.

A person in the 200 block of Second Avenue reported Saturday afternoon having been assaulted.

A man in the 100 block of First Avenue reported Saturday afternoon the theft of steel bins from behind his shop. Pieces of metal also were taken.

A 300-block Noble Street man went to the station with a toilet-bowl-cleaner bomb that went off at his house Saturday morning.

A person at East Market and South Monroe streets reported Saturday evening buying a cell phone from a person off a website and finding it was stolen.

A person in the 500 block of South Sandusky Street reported Saturday evening a father struck a son in the face, and the boy was bleeding from the nose. Warnings were issued for disorderly conduct.

A 500-block North Sandusky Street man reported Saturday night an item had been stolen from his vehicle.

A 300-block Wentz Street woman reported Saturday night the theft of personal items.

Officers responded to the beer tent at St. Mary Catholic Church Saturday night for an argument.

A 100-block Benner Street woman reported Saturday night rocks were thrown at her window.

A fight was reported early Sunday morning in the first block of North Washington Street.

A fight was reported at GW’s Fine Food & Spirits, 275 S. Washington St., early Sunday morning. The victim did not wish to press charges.

Clinton R. Bogner, 19, of Tiffin, was charged with underage possession/consumption early Sunday morning.

Tyler J. Fuhrer, 20, of Tiffin, was charged with underage possession/consumption and furnishing a location for underage consumption early Sunday morning.

Austin G. Eaton, 18, of Tiffin, was charged with underage possession/consumption early Sunday morning.

Gerald M. Goetz, 30, of Tiffin, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and speed-excess limits early Sunday morning.

Preston L. Hook, 25, of Tiffin, was charged with dog at-large Sunday after an incident Saturday.

David G. Ziegler, 44, of Bloomville, was charged with public urination Sunday after an incident Saturday.

County reports

A 400-block Thomas Street man reported Saturday afternoon his sister punched him 25 times.

A man in the 15000 block of East TR 104 reported Saturday evening his truck was damaged.

An outdoor alarm was reported at Rosier’s Deli Mart, 1428 S. SR 53, early Sunday morning, and the availability of Tiffin’s canine officer was checked.

Fostoria reports

A person reported Saturday morning a person ran into a fence in the 400 block of Union Court.

A man in the 200 block of North Main Street reported Saturday afternoon his GPS was stolen. Diesel fuel worth $800 also was taken.

A person reported Saturday afternoon three boys in a tree were throwing water balloons at cars driving by and people walking down the street at West Fremont and North Countyline streets.

A 100-block Sandusky Street man reported Saturday afternoon a man outside his door started screaming and yelling at him and pulled a knife on him. An ambulance was sent to the scene. The man did not want to pursue charges at that time.

A citation was issued for a turn signal violation during a traffic stop at South Poplar and East Sixth streets Saturday evening. Charges were pending for drug paraphernalia and crack cocaine.

A woman requested to speak to an officer Saturday evening about a situation with her 6-year-old daughter at her father’s house. The information was to be forwarded to Seneca County Department of Job and Family Services.

A person reported Sunday morning a man was fighting in the 100 block of Taft Boulevard. A woman who said she had been assaulted was to be taken by family to the hospital.

A bag of crack cocaine was located in the 200 block of East Jones Street Sunday afternoon.

Tiffin accidents

Allison O. Young, 52, of Sandusky, was cited with improper left turn after an accident at West Market and Nelson streets Saturday afternoon.

Citations of improper backing and assured clear distance ahead were issued after a non-injury accident at Clay and Franklin streets Saturday night.

County accident

Annelisiese Hutcheson, 80, of Dashport, was cited with right-of-way at a stop/yield sign after an accident on North SR 101 Thursday morning. The other driver, Dallas R. Defrience, 68, of Clyde, was taken by Republic EMS to Mercy Tiffin Hospital.

Fostoria accidents

Brett M.A. Caudill, 76, of Fostoria, was cited with failure to yield right-of-way after an accident at US 23 and West Fremont Street May 8.

Citations of expired license and failure to yield were issued after an accident at East Center and South Town streets Saturday evening.

EMS

Tiffin EMS had two squad runs Saturday afternoon, a squad run Saturday evening and two squad runs early Sunday morning. Clinton fire assisted Saturday evening.

Republic fire and EMS had a squad run Saturday night.

Bascom fire and EMS had a squad run early Sunday morning.

NBS fire, Bascom EMS and the Echo unit had a squad run Sunday afternoon.

Fire

Tiffin firefighters were called to a malicious or mischievous false call at 101 Miami St. Saturday afternoon.

Tiffin firefighters were called to an alarm system activation at 30 S. Sandusky St. early Sunday morning. There was no fire, and it was unintentional.
