Cyle J. Carter, 23, of Tiffin, was charged with criminal mischief and theft May 22.
A 600-block South Sandusky Street caller reported Thursday afternoon a man threw a knife at a woman. Police were unable to locate the man. No charges have been filed, according to the report.
Angela R. Chaney-Ginnever, 44, of Tiffin, was charged with theft Thursday afternoon. An employee of Family Dollar Store, 284 N. Washington St., had reported two women shoplifted air fresheners, candles, soap and shampoo. The employee had tried to stop the women in the parking lot, but they took off in a vehicle. The vehicle was later stopped on Miami Street.
A caller reported Thursday evening they witnessed an assault in the 500 block of East Market Street. No signs of abuse were found on the alleged victim, according to the report.
Curtis R. Grove, 21, of Tiffin, was charged with disorderly conduct Thursday.
A theft was reported early Friday morning in the 100 block of South Sandusky Street.
A possible break-in was reported early Friday morning at Zig-Stag, 20 E. Market St. Signs of forced entry were found, but nothing was missing.
Jack W. Shoemaker, 28, of Tiffin, was charged with dog-at-large Friday morning. A caller in the 100 block of First Avenue had reported a dog tried to attack a neighbor.
A 300-block Hedges Street person reported Friday morning a wallet and cash were stolen from an unlocked vehicle overnight.
A break-in was reported Thursday evening in the 9000 block of West TR 84.
A 10000-block West CR 28 man reported Friday morning his truck was entered and a pair of sunglasses was taken.
A caller reported Friday afternoon two hooks were stolen from a cemetery at South TR 115 and West CR 58.
A 5000-block North CR 11 caller reported Friday afternoon tools were stolen from a property that was under renovation.
A break-in was reported Thursday evening in the 600 block of Maple Street.
A 600-block Columbus Avenue woman reported Thursday evening a neighbor was taking pictures of her children. She requested to speak to an officer.
A caller from Review Times, 118 S. Main St., reported Friday morning someone had been throwing bundles of newspaper over a wall and into the courtyard.
A 100-block Perry Street woman reported Friday morning her windshield was broken overnight.
A person in the 400 block of Park Avenue reported Friday morning they had been receiving several scam phone calls.
An employee of Circle K, 551 E. Lytle St., reported Friday afternoon a theft of alcohol occurred Monday.
An injury accident was reported Thursday afternoon in the 2200 block of West Market Street. A person was cited with failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead and another person was cited with driving under suspension.
Noberto Benavidez Jr., 53, of Fostoria, was cited with failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead following an accident Friday morning at North Washington and East Davis streets.
A person was cited with failure to control following an accident Thursday afternoon in the 1000 block of South SR 67. A person had gone off of the roadway and into trees, according to Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports.
Tiffin firefighters were called to 98 Elwood St. Friday morning for an outdoor fire.
Republic fire and Bloomville EMS responded to an accident Thursday afternoon on SR 67.
Tiffin EMS had two squad runs Thursday afternoon, one squad run Thursday evening and one squad run Thursday night. Ambulances also were needed twice Friday morning.
