Tiffin reports

Jennifer R. Owens, 29, of Tiffin, was charged with cruelty to animals Saturday afternoon.

A caller reported Tuesday night a street sign was in the back of a vehicle in the area of West Perry and Jackson streets. The sign was returned to the police station.

A first-block Clinton Avenue man reported early Wednesday morning his girlfriend assaulted him and he was bleeding from the mouth.

A 200-block West Perry Street caller reported Wednesday afternoon a grill was stolen from a patio overnight.

County report

A woman went to the station Tuesday evening to report she gave personal information to a company claiming her computer had a virus.

Fostoria reports

A 1200-block Perrysburg Road woman reported Tuesday evening her 13-year-old son was assaulting her. She did not want to pursue charges.

A woman reported Tuesday night her son’s backpack had been stolen from the stadium while he was there for a track meet.


Tiffin EMS had two squad runs Tuesday evening, one squad run Tuesday night and one squad run early Wednesday morning.

New Riegel EMS and the Echo unit had a squad run Tuesday afternoon.

Attica fire and EMS had a squad run Tuesday night.

Clinton fire had a squad run Tuesday night.


Bascom firefighters were called to 12400 W. Axline St., Lot 37, Tuesday morning for the report of a fire. Bascom Fire Chief Harry Miller said electrical heat tape had started a fire underneath the trailer, burning insulation in some spots. The damage was contained to the bottom of the trailer, and no damage was reported to the inside of the trailer, he said.
