T-SPL to host play events in November

The junior department at Tiffin-Seneca Public Library is to host Playtime @ the Library at 10 a.m. Friday in the Frost Kalnow Room of the library, 77 Jefferson St.

The program is hosted with Seneca County’s Ohio Early Intervention. Toys and activities are to be offered to children ages 18 months to five-years old, to interact with their caregivers in an unstructured, creative play.

Library to host preschool story time

Tiffin-Seneca Public Library is to host preschool story time at 10 a.m. Tuesday and Nov. 20 and 27

in the Frost Kalnow Room of the library, 77 Jefferson St.

The program will feature stories, poems, songs, finger plays, crafts and more.

Program follows up on author visit

Tiffin-Seneca Public Library is to host “Where Do We Go From Here” at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the library, 77 Jefferson St., as part of the Foundation Speakers Series.

This is a follow up discussion to a visit from Sam Quinones, author of “Dreamland: The True Tale of America’s Opiate Epidemic.”

Toddler event to feature stories

Tiffin-Seneca Public Library is to host Toddler Tales at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Frost Kalnow Room of the library, 77 Jefferson St.

The program is developed for children 1 1/2-3 years old. It is an interactive program that encourages movement through rhymes, stories, songs and dancing.

Family story time planned at T-SPL

Tiffin-Seneca Public Library youth service department is to offer family story time at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in the Frost Kalnow Room of the library, 77 Jefferson St.

Babies to play at the library

Tiffin-Seneca Public Library’s Bouncing Babies program is scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday in the Frost Kalnow Room of the library, 77 Jefferson St.

The interactive program features rhymes, songs, stories and lapsit fun for babies and caregivers ages birth to 18 months old.

T-SPL friends group to gather Saturday

The Friends of Tiffin-Seneca Public Library are to host their annual meeting at 7 p.m. Saturday in the Frost Kanow Room of the library, 77 Jefferson St.

The meeting is to feature Amy Berger who is to discuss geological wonders of the world as well as share some of her travel experiences.

The program is to be preceded by the Friends’ business meeting.

Preschool story time at Seneca East

ATTICA — Seneca East Public Library is to host preschool story time at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday and at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the library, 14 N. Main St.

The program is suited for children ages 3 years old through those in kindergarten and includes stories, songs, extension activities and crafts.

Library to host story time at elementary schools

ATTICA — Seneca East Public Library is to host story time at Seneca East Elementary School at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the school, 13343 US 224.

The event includes stories, songs, extension activities and crafts.

Enjoy stories at Clyde library

CLYDE — Clyde Public Library is to host story time at 4 p.m. Tuesday and at 11 a.m. Thursday at the library, 222 W. Buckeye St.

The event is to feature weekly stories for preschoolers ages 2-5 years old.

The 30-minute session includes stories, finger plays, music, art, movement and language activities.

CLYDE — Clyde Public Library is to host Book Babies at 10 a.m. Thursday at the library, 222 W. Buckeye St.

The program is for infants through 24 months with a caregiver. The event features stories, baby games and musical activities to create a playful learning experience.

CLYDE — Clyde Public Library is to host a gingerbread program as part of the annual Winesburg Weekend event 10-11 a.m. Saturday at the library, 222 W. Buckeye St.

Homeschool families are invited to come to the new program to discuss issues, create ideas, problem-solve and socialize.

An experienced homeschool staff member will guide families in the discussion.

The program helps to teach letter recognition to children up to 5 years old who have not started kindergarten.

Children also are encouraged to play with each other and learn the importance of sharing.

North Central Academy board is to meet at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at North Central Ohio Educational Service Center, 928 W. Market St.

The financial report of Tiffin City School District has been completed for the fiscal year that ended June 30 and is available for public inspection at the office of the treasurer.

TMS students of the month

Tiffin Middle School has announced the students of the month for October.
