St. Wendelin announces Mohawk of the Quarter

FOSTORIA – St. Wendelin Catholic School announced students who have been named to the Mohawk of the Quarter list.

Students include first grade, Audrey Sheets; second grade, Andrew Jones; third grade, Lara Tobin; fourth grade, Jakob Faber; fifth grade, Isabella Jones; sixth grade, Elizabeth Reineck; and seventh/eighth grade, Elijaha Kitchen.

BEREA – Kara Ameling of Bradner has been named to the fall 2017 semester dean’s list at Baldwin Wallace University.

Tiffin caddie earns scholarships

GOLF, Ill. – Jace Windsor of Tiffin is one of 25 students who have been awarded the Evans Scholarship, a full housing and tuition college grant offered to golf caddies.

COLUMBUS – Emily Pursell of Tiffin has been selected to receive scholarships from the College of Food, Agricultural and Environmental Sciences at Ohio State University.

Preschoolers program at T-SPL

Tiffin-Seneca Public Library is to host Preschool Story Time at 1 p.m. or 6:30 p.m. Thursday and Feb. 8, 15 and 22 in the Frost Kalnow Room of the library, 77 Jefferson St.

The program features stories, poems, songs, finger plays, crafts and more.

Haan to talk about his experiences

Tiffin-Seneca Public Library is to present “Culture of Developing Countries: Nepal” at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the library, located at 77 Jefferson St.

The program is to be presented by Perry Haan, professor of marketing and entrepreneurship at Tiffin University. Haan spent five weeks over the summer as a Fulbright Specialist at Kings College in Kathmandu, Nepal. During the presentation he is to share his experiences.

Play Friday at T-SPL

The junior department at Tiffin-Seneca Pubic Library is to host Playtime @ the Library 10 a.m.-noon Friday in the Frost Kalnow Room of the library, 77 Jefferson St.

The program is hosted by Seneca County’s Help Me Grow. Toys and activities are to be offered to children ages 18 months to five-years old.
