Bliss ‘friends’ mto meet
BLOOMVILLE — Friends of Bliss Memorial Public Library’s annual meeting is to be at 7 p.m. March 27 at the library.
Bliss schedules story programming
BLOOMVILLE — Bliss Memorial Public Library is to host Storytime for children ages 3-6 years old.
The program features playtime, songs, stories, flannel boards and crafts.
The program starts at 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays and last about an hour.
Topics and program dates are as follows:
• Signs of Spring, Tuesday.
• Make A Sound, March 28.
• Down On The Farm, April 4.
• Hoppy Easter, April 11.
Bliss to host toddler program
BLOOMVILLE — Bliss Memorial Public Library is to host Toddler Time for children ages 1-3 years old and their parents/guardians.
The program includes playtime, songs, stories, flannel boards and crafts.
The program is 30-45 minutes long and starts at 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays.
The schedule of topics and dates are as follows:
• Lion’s Roar, Wednesday.
• Goodnight, Octopus, March 29.
• Happy Ladybug, April 5.
• Happy Easter, April 12.
Terra to offer real estate courses
Terra State Community College, in partnership with the Ohio Institute of Real Estate, is to offer four courses to be used toward obtaining real estate sales pre-licensing.
Courses include Principles & Practices of Real Estate, Real Estate Appraisal, Real Estate Law and Real Estate Finance.
Total cost for all four courses is $1,580. If fees are paid in full by the first day of classes, total cost is $1,280.

TU ranked in ‘Best Value’ list
Tiffin University recently ranked No. 12 for the Best Value Online Schools in Ohio for 2017.
The ranking was created using data from the Integrated Post-secondary Education Data System.
Senators urge applications to military service
WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, and U.S. Sen. Rob Portman, R-Ohio, are encouraging Ohioans interested in 2018 admission to U.S. Military Service Academies to apply to each senator’s office for a congressional nomination.
Each year, Brown and Portman nominate up to 10 students for each service academy: the U.S. Air Force Academy, the U.S. Naval Academy, the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy.
Interested students who meet the eligibility requirements should send their completed application packet to Brown’s Cleveland office and to Portman’s Columbus office no later than Sept. 22.
