Wish native a happy birthday
Former Tiffin resident Mary Alice Lambright is about to celebrate her 100th birthday April 4. She now resides in assisted living in Indiana, but her family is encouraging friends from Tiffin to send her birthday cards for this milestone. Mail them to her at Harbour Assisted Living, 3110 E. Tiffin JCPenney store receives high distinction
PLANO, Texas – J. C. Penney Co. Inc. honored its top performing stores with the Founder’s Award at a leadership conference in Dallas Wednesday. The Founder’s Award is the company’s highest distinction for leadership excellence, recognizing top performers. At this year’s ceremony, 104 of approximately 1,060 stores, six out of 52 districts and four out of 14 supply chain facilities received the award, including the JCPenney store located at Tiffin Mall led by store manager Melissa Tejchman.
“Our Founder’s Award recipients have shown a true passion for winning with our customers in 2014, striving for excellence and innovation in everything they do,” said Myron E. (Mike) Ullman III, chief executive officer. “On behalf of the JCPenney board of directors and executive board, we thank these leaders for having a consistently resourceful approach to business in a highly competitive retail environment.”
The Founder’s Award is presented to teams that excel in financial performance, customer and client service and business expertise.
Senior health check-up planned
Seneca County General Health District has planned at senior health check 1-3 p.m. April 8 at Allen Eiry Center. The checkup is for anyone age 60 or older.
