Walk with Kim returns to MCL

SYCAMORE – Mohawk Community Library is to bring back Kim Mohr for a history walking series starting at 8 p.m. Wednesday.

Mohr is to leave from the library for a walk around Sycamore as he discusses some of the local history and color.

MCL sets plant swap

SYCAMORE – Mohawk Community Library is to host a plant swap noon-2 p.m. Saturday.

Participants can bring plants to swap and/or share at the library.

Learn to make wine bottle light

BLOOMVILLE – Cathy Stockmeister is to be at Bliss Memorial Public Library at 6:30 p.m. May 19 to demonstrate crafting a wine bottle light.

The cost is $5 payable to Stockmeister and registration is limited to 12 participants.

Essential oils at Bliss Memorial

BLOOMVILLE – Bliss Memorial Public Library is to host a course, “doTERRA’s Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils,” at 6:30 p.m. June 2.

The program, presented by Bev Martin, is to feature information about essential oils during the summer, including how to repel insects and assist with insect bites, assist in first aid and pain relief, relieve allergy symptoms and cool down.
