Discussion panel to feature people from Venezuela

The Tiffin-Seneca Public Library is to feature a panel discussion about “What’s Going on In Venezuela?” at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.

The program is to feature Tiffin resident Isabel Seeberger; Bonnie Fors, professor Emerita of history at Heidelberg University; and Tiffin University students from Venezuela.

Speakers are to give historical perspectives and background, along with personal stories.

Bellevue to offer early literacy program

BELLEVUE – The Bellevue Public Library is to feature Discovery Time at 6:30 p.m. Monday and 10:30 a.m. Tuesday.

The program is a parent-guided learn-and-play group for ages 3-5. The program is a three-week series featuring activity stations to help with children’s early literacy skills.

BELLEVUE – Staff members from Home Savings and Loan in Bellevue are to teach children in kindergarten though second grade how to be environmentally friendly while saving money at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Bellevue Public Library.

Children’s book group to meet

BELLEVUE – The next date for the “Rappin’ Readers,” is at 4:30 p.m. Thursday at the Bellevue Public Library.

The book club is for children ages 9-12.

Children are to bring any book of their choice to share with the group.

BELLEVUE – The next date for Yarn Club is at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Bellevue Public Library.

The program is for beginning or experienced people interested in knitting, crocheting, or sewing.

Going gluten-free program at MCL

SYCAMORE The Mohawk Community Library is to feature a program on how to eat gluten free at 6:30 p.m. April 15.

Attendees can find out where to shop for gluten-free foods and learn tips on how to stay gluten-free.

A sampling of gluten-free foods is to be provided along with recipes to take home.

‘Watch & Learn’ at Mohawk library

SYCAMORE – The Mohawk Community Library is to offer a new documentary series called “Watch & Learn” at 10 a.m. Wednesdays in April and May.

Computer classes with Matt planned

SYCAMORE – Matt Sebring is to be at the Mohawk Community library at 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays in April to help with any computer problems anyone might have.

Sebring is to be on hand to help with getting started with a new computer, programming, basic computer skills, e-readers, tablets and iPads.
