Reineke purchases Findlay dealership
The Reineke Family Dealerships announced the purchase of a franchise in Findlay Tuesday.
According to a release, the company purchased Gene Stevens Honda, 1033 Bright Road, Findlay.
“We’re very excited to add the Honda franchise to our vehicle lineup in Northwest Ohio,” said company co-owner Dan Reineke in the release. “Reineke Honda will provide our customers with another vehicle option, in turn allowing us to do what we do best … take care of our customers’ vehicle needs.”
According to the release, the franchise will remain at its current location and Scott Stevens, son of Gene Stevens, will be general manager.
Reineke Marketing Manager Greg Dell said he expects a smooth transition.
“We’re coming in and working with the current employees,” he said. “It will allow for a smooth transition.”
Dell said customers can expect the same service they would get at any other Reineke dealership.
“With the Reineke named attached with it, the customer will receive that great customer service, that attention to detail,” he said. “We’re always willing to go the extra mile for the customer.”
Reineke Family Dealerships, founded in 1960 by William F. Reineke Sr., sold about 7,000 cars last year. The dealership, which employs about 400 people, has stores in Fostoria, Tiffin, Upper Sandusky, North Baltimore, Lima and Findlay.
“We’re excited to have another dealership location in Findlay,” said co-owner Tom Reineke in the press release.
