Chip champ | Advertiser-Tribune Ballreich's recently earned two gold medals and a champion title at the nation's first Potato Chip Festival in New York. According to a release from Ballreich's, the Regular Marcelled potato chip and the Smokey Sweet Mesquite potato stick earned gold medals at the festival, which was held July 16 in Saratoga Springs. The Smokey Sweet Mesquite potato stick also was the champion in its category, the release states, and now is considered the best potato stick in the nation.
