Jobless numbers down for April | Advertiser-Tribune Seneca County's unemployment rate fell from 5.5 percent in March to 4.7 percent in April, according to information from Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. The unemployment rate was 4.5 percent in April 2015. Estimates of the civilian labor force, the total number of people working or looking for employment, show 27,700 people were working in Seneca County in April, an increase from 27,600 people in March and April 2015's 27,500.
