Upcycle Ink targets customer satisfaction

Audrey Jackson, owner of UpCycle Ink, believes a successful business needs to rely on two principles: Offer customers a product that no one else can and do so at a good price.

Those values form the foundation of UpCycle Ink, which Jackson said she began more than a year ago to provide recycled ink and toner products to area businesses.

Jackson said she offers quality, dependable, greener products at “lower prices” and with a “fast turnover.” That level of service, she said, has lead to high customer satisfaction. She said 90 percent of her business comes from return customers.

To help ensure the timely delivery of UpCycle’s ink and toner products, Jackson said she recently decided to begin stocking items locally, to further reduce delivery time.

While future plans for UpCycle Ink might include a warehouse location, she said, she plans to keep certain toners stocked and ready for immediate delivery, as needed by the companies UpCycle serves.
