Auto shop adds new paint booth
At an open house Thursday, Feasel’s Frame & Collision debuted a new paint booth that has replaced the business’s 25-year-old booth.
Jeff Feasel, general manager, said the operation to build the booth began in mid-February and the booth has been running for a couple of months.
A new building that features a spot in the front for prep work houses the paint booth.
This booth, which was built in Italy and shipped to New Jersey in a 40-foot container, has more light, more room and is more economical than the old booth, Feasel said. It also is better for the environment and moves production along. With a quicker dry time, up to seven vehicles can be painted in one day.
Feasel said local contractors were used to complete the booth, which is the only one of its type in Tiffin. The closest, he said, is on the east side of Cleveland.
“It’s groundbreaking for the area,” he said. “It will help us up our game and show that we’re here to stay.”
Feasel’s Frame & Collision has been operating for 29 years.
