2 businesses look to expansions
Arnold Machine Inc. and Northstar Industries are to strengthen their partnership by sharing manufacturing space.
Northstar is to construct a 15-foot by 15-foot by 15-foot, 1 million BTU powder cure oven and a spray booth of the same size in an portion of the AMI facility which they are taking over.
“An overall increase in business and the need for powder coating larger items drove the expansion/move,” sales manager Dan Shook said in a press release. “We are excited about the increased space and size capacity for our powder coating. This enables us to expand our reach and customer base, which will in turn lead to growth.”
Northstar is expecting to add two or three new employees as a result of the expansion.
AMI also announced its expansion project is expected to be completed by April.
The company is adding 15,000 square feet to its facility.
“The increased space will allow us to continue to grow,” AMI president Zach Arnold said in a press release. “We intend on continuing to grow in the areas of machinery manufacturing and general manufacturing.”
