Alexa Frank and Justin Wharton exchanged wedding vows Friday, July 14, 2017, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin. The officiant was the Rev. Joseph Szybka. A reception followed at Meadowbrook Ballroom, Bascom.
The bride is the daughter of Don and Darren Frank of Tiffin. The groom is the son of John Wharton and the late Lisa Wharton of Oregon.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an ivory trumpet wedding gown designed by Martina Liana. It featured a lace overlay and a chapel-length train.
Bridesmaids wore blush, floor-length chiffon gowns.
Maid of honor was Amber Welfle of Findlay, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Alicia Frank of Tiffin, sister of the bride; Halie Wharton of Oregon, sister the groom; Ali Mass of Perrysburg, friend of the bride; and Michelle Seislove of Tiffin, friend of the bride.
Best man was Ned Shuck of Whitewater, Wisconsin, friend of the groom. Groomsmen included Ben Morrissey of Oregon, friend of the groom; Rick Hmelewsky of Oregon, friend of the groom; and Brennan Kelly of Clinton Township, Michigan, friend of the groom.
Ring bearers were Lukas Shuck and Micah Shuck, children of the best man.
The bride is a graduate of Calvert High School, Heidelberg University and University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
The groom is a graduate of Clay High School and Heidelberg University.
The couple resides in Memphis, Tennessee, after a honeymoon trip to Mexico.
