Tarra and Adam Braunscheidel

Tarra Spenser Kraft and Adam Nicholas Braunscheidel exchanged wedding vows at 4 p.m. Friday, June 9, 2017, at Holy Cross Immaculate Church Mount Adams, Cincinnati, during a double-ring, Catholic nuptial Mass. The officiant was the Rev. Len Fecko. A reception followed at The Monastery Event Center Mount Adams, Cincinnati.

The bride is the daughter of David and Pamela Kraft of Tiffin. The groom is the son of James and Lenore Braunscheidel of Wellsville, New York.

Tarra, given in marriage by her father, wore an Alvina Valenta ivory cashmere, tulle ball gown with a V-neck bodice and double-spaghetti straps featuring floral embroidery throughout the skirt. She wore a chapel-length veil and a vintage rose gold Haute comb embellished with Swarovski crystals. She carried a bouquet of Veronica, blush faith roses, tulips, white peonies, astilbe, ranunculus and greens.

Tori Haynie of Cincinnati was her sister’s maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Elizabeth Welsh of Rochester, New York, and Katherine Braunscheidel of Washington, D.C., both sisters of the groom, and Mariah Grote of Wilder, Kentucky, Kristin Cloern of Louisville, Kentucky, and Candice Kleinhenz of Dearborn, Michigan, all friends of the bride. Junior bridesmaid was Tinsley Haynie of Cincinnati, niece of the bride.

The maid of honor wore a Hayley Paige almond blush A-line gown featuring a silver lace bodice and sweetheart neckline. The bridesmaids wore Hayley Paige ivory tulle over candlelight chiffon gowns with draped chiffon V-necks and back strap details. The junior bridesmaid wore a Sorella Vita champagne and cappuccino colored, embroidered lace bodice gown with spaghetti straps, a ruched waistline and pleated, floor-length skirt. The women carried bouquets of blue astilbe, Veronica, spray and faith roses and greens.

James Braunscheidel of Washington, D.C., was his brother’s best man. Groomsmen were Matt Braunscheidel of Lombard, Illinois, brother of the groom, Liam Welsh of Rochester, New York, brother-in-law of the groom, Tyler Grote of Wilder, Kentucky, and Andrew Macafee, Dan Richardson and Andrew Brennam, all of Chicago and friends of the groom. The men wore gray suits and pink argyle socks.

Flower girl was Piper Lee of Tiffin, cousin of the bride. Ringbearer was Jude Molitor of Fredonia, New York, cousin of the groom.

Tarra is a 2006 graduate of Calvert High School and a 2010 graduate of Xavier University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education. She also attended Heidelberg University, where she obtained a master’s degree in school counseling. She is a professional school counselor and cheer coach at Little Miami Junior High, Cincinnati.

Adam is a 2006 graduate of Wellsville High School, Wellsville, New York, and a 2010 graduate of Xavier University. He is a financial and wealth adviser at OJM Group, Cincinnati.

Tori and Tinsley Haynie hosted a bridal brunch for Tarra at noon April 22. The bride’s parents hosted a couples, family and friends cook out at 6 p.m. April 22. Rehearsal dinner took place at Carnegie Hall, Newport, Kentucky.

Following a honeymoon trip to Napa Valley, San Francisco, John Muir Trail, Monterey Bay and Carmel, California, the newlyweds reside in Hyde Park, Cincinnati.
