Eva Tanner and Aaron Kapelka were married at 1:30 p.m. Nov. 26, 2016, at St. Andrew’s Church, Liberty, by the Rev. Timothy Kummerer. A reception followed at Meadowbrook Ballroom, Bascom.
Eva is the daughter of Doug and Lori Tanner. Aaron is the son of Tom Kapelka and Anette Kapelka.
Eva, given in marriage by her father, wore a lace and chiffon gown featuring a beaded top with straps.
Maid of honor was Janelle Tanner, sister of the bride, and she wore a burgundy, one-shoulder, rouched dress. Bridesmaids included Kenzie Zesing, friend of the bride; Megan Rossi, sister of the groom; Renae Kapelka, sister of the groom; and Nicole Newell, cousin of the bride. They wore floor-length, burnt orange, one-shoulder, rouched dresses and carried bouquets of orange, yellow, red and purple flowers.
Best man was Dillon Kwiat, cousin of the groom. Groomsmen were Eric Tanner, brother of the bride; Mike Rossi, brother-in-law of the groom; Kyle Kwiat, cousin of the groom; and Jacob Newell, cousin of the bride. They wore brown tuxedos with leaf boutineers.
Eva graduated from Hopewell-Loudon High School in 2012 and obtained a bachelor’s degree from Tiffin University in 2015. She is employed in the human resources department at Vaughn Industries, Carey.
Aaron graduated from Hopewell-Loudon High School in 2010 and obtained a bachelor’s degree from Heidelberg University in 2014. He is a math teacher at Tiffin City Schools.
The newlyweds are planning a honeymoon trip to Hawaii in June 2017 and live in Fostoria.
