Kacie Lynn Stover and Matthew Morgan Harold Bartimus exchanged wedding vows at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, April 16, 2016, at Camp Mary Orton, Columbus. The celebration was officiated by the Rev. Obie Ford III. A reception immediately followed the ceremony at Camp Mary Orton.
The bride is the daughter of Nancy and Jeffrey Stover of Tiffin. The groom is the son of Mazzie and Gary Bartimus of Godmanchester, England.
The bride, given in marriage by her parents, wore a floor-length ivory dress with a beaded lace bodice, champagne sash and full tulle skirt featuring a sweep train. She wore an elbow-length veil with a gold, pearl-embellished hairpiece. She carried a bouquet of ivory garden roses, peonies and ranunculus accented with greenery and a blue ribbon.
The maid of honor was Hanna Dotson, friend of the bride. Bridesman was Tyler Stover, brother of the bride.
The best man was Joshua Bartimus, brother of the groom. Groomswoman was Adelaide Brown, sister of the groom.
The bride, a 2006 graduate of Old Fort High School, graduated in 2009 from Miami University and is pursuing a master’s degree in human resource management from The Ohio State University. She works as a senior talent acquisition specialist for The Wendy’s Co. in Dublin.
The groom is a 2006 graduate of Hinchingbrooke High School in Godmanchester, England, and a 2010 graduate of Sheffield Hallam University in Sheffield, England. He works as a sous chef for L Brands, Columbus.
The couple lives in Columbus after a honeymoon trip to Cancun, Mexico.
