Alexandra Kirchner and Joseph Chiarappa exchanged wedding vows at 1 p.m. May 7, 2016, in a double-ring ceremony at St. Mary Church in Tiffin. The officiant was the Rev. David Ross. A reception followed the ceremony at Meadowbrook Ballroom.
The bride is the daughter of Keith and Maria Kirchner of Rocky River and Jill and Michael Carter of Green Springs. The groom is the son of Sam and Debbie Chiarappa of Green.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a strapless gown with a waist-length veil. She carried a cascading bouquet of blush and ivory peonies.
Matron of honor was Erica Moyer of Tiffin, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Claire Meneer, Amanda Honer, Megan Miller and Natalie Clinger.
Brynn Moyer and Virginia Chiarappa, nieces of the bride and groom, and Oliver Moyer, nephew of the bride and groom, were the flower girls and ring bearer, respectively.
The best man was Philip Chiarappa. Groomsmen included Michael Chiarappa, Karl Boedecker, Brett Moyer and Joe Douglas.
The bride, a 2008 graduate of Columbian High School, graduated in 2013 from Heidelberg University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and in 2015 from Tiffin University with a master’s degree in higher education administration. She is the annual fund coordinator at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School in Akron.
The bridegroom graduated in 2010 from St. Vincent-St. Mary High School and in 2014 from Heidelberg University. He is works at Best Commercial Energy Services.
A rehearsal dinner was at Pioneer Mill May 6, 2016. The couple lives in New Franklin.
