Cari Christine Hossler and Leonard Joseph Kummerer exchanged wedding vows at 1:30 p.m. Nov. 7, 2015, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Tiffin. The Rev. Joseph Szybka was the officiant during the double-ring ceremony. A reception followed at Sycamore Community Center.
The bride is the daughter of Chris and Barbara Hossler of Tiffin. The bridegroom is the son of Jerry and Pat Kummerer of Tiffin.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an ivory, A-line gown with a split side and corset-style back, accented with tulle and beading. She carried a bouquet of white roses, mums, alstroemeria and wild purple roses, accented with berries and sweet Annie.
The attendants wore plum-colored gowns of varying styles. They carried smaller versions of the bride’s bouquet.
Laura Hossler of Bowling Green was her sister’s maid of honor, and Jennifer Link of Tiffin was her cousin’s matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Jaime Wagner, sister of the bridegroom, and Jackie Comer, friend of the bride, both of Tiffin.
Grayse Kummerer of Tiffin, niece of the bridegroom, and Brock Hossler of Milford, cousin of the bride, were the flower girl and ring bearer, respectively.
Curtis Kummerer of Columbus was his brother’s best man. Groomsmen were Joel Kummerer, brother of the groom, and Eric Wagner, brother-in-law of the groom, both of Tiffin, and Ryan Hossler, brother of the bride, of Westerville.
The bride is a 2000 graduate of Mohawk High School and a 2005 graduate of Bowling Green State University.
The bridegroom is a 1996 graduate of Calvert High School. He received a bachelor’s degree in 2000 from The Ohio State University and master’s degrees in 2001 and 2008 from The Ohio State University and DePaul University, respectively. He is lead tax manager with RSM US LLP in Columbus.
Honoring the bride with miscellaneous showers were her bridesmaids and the mothers of the couple, both in October 2015. A rehearsal dinner was at Bubby’s in New Riegel.
The couple lives in Columbus, following a honeymoon to Turks and Caicos.
