Amanda Marie Clouse and Matthew Benjamin Wertz exchanged wedding vows during a double-ring ceremony at 3:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25, 2015, at All Saints Parish in New Riegel with the Rev. Timothy Kummerer officiating. A reception followed at Meadowbrook Park Ballroom in Bascom.
The bride is the daughter of Ray and Diane Clouse of New Riegel. The groom is the son of Bill and Darlene Wertz of New Riegel.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white, fit-and-flare sparkling gown, with all-over intricate beading and a sweetheart neckline. The back of the gown fastened with a zipper highlighted by covered white buttons and a chapel length train. She wore a beaded headpiece with a two-tier, fingertip-length veil with rhinestone beading at the edges. She carried a cascading bouquet of ivy, white roses, mini white calla lilies and silk teal roses.
The bridesmaids wore dark teal strapless, knee-length, chiffon dresses with hand-draped pleating at the bodice. They carried bouquets of shimmering white roses wrapped with dark gray ribbon.
Heidi Smith of New Riegel was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Ashley Parker of McCutchenville, Lauren Mathias of Carey, Jessica Tiell of Hilliard, Katie Kiesel of Tiffin and Melanie Margraf of New Riegel.
Cory Smith of New Riegel was the best man. Groomsmen were Brad Smith of New Riegel, Tyler Scherger of Findlay, Curtis Reinhart of Alvada, Alec Wagner of Alvada and Chris Wertz of Tiffin.
The bride is a 2009 graduate of New Riegel High School and a 2013 graduate of Marion Technical College. She is a registered nurse at Mercy Tiffin Hospital.
The groom is a 2009 graduate of New Riegel High School and a 2010 graduate of Lincoln Tech. He is a painter at Schreiner Manufacturing in New Riegel.
The couple live in New Riegel following a honeymoon to Costa Rica.
