Brittany Danielle Peiffer and Derek Robert Egbert exchanged wedding vows in a double-ring ceremony Saturday, Jan. 17, 2015, at St Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin, with the Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating. A reception followed the ceremony at The Master’s Building in Upper Sandusky.
Brittany, given in marriage by her father, is the daughter of Tim and Marla Peiffer of Tiffin. Derek is the son of William and Joan Egbert of Fremont.
The bride wore an ivory, silk, A-line gown with a sweetheart neckline embellished at the waist with a beaded sash.
Serving as maid of honor was Bethany Peiffer, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Haelie Egbert, sister of the groom, and Rachel Myers, Megan Gibson, Jenny Oakes and Stephanie Miller, friends of the bride. They wore red and gray, chiffon, floor-length dresses.
Serving as best man was Nick Egbert, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Zachary Peiffer, brother of the bride; Nick Berryman, Cory Snider and Scott Widman, friends of the groom; and Bryce Kuhn, friend of the bride.
The bride is a 2007 graduate of Columbian High School and a 2011 graduate of Ohio State University. She is employed with Riverstone Jewelry as buyer and inventory specialist.
The groom is a 2008 graduate of Fremont St. Joseph High School and a 2012 graduate of Ohio State University. He is a specialist in the U.S. Army. Derek and Brittany live in Hinesville, Georgia.
