Sarah Hunt and Ryan Sewell exchanged wedding vows at 1:30 p.m. June 28, 2014, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. The Rev. Gary Walters officiated the double-ring Catholic nuptials Mass. A reception followed at Meadowbrook Ballroom, Bascom.
Sarah is the daughter of Randy and Maxine Hunt of Tiffin. Ryan is the son of Tom and Becky Sewell of Strasburg.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a Mori Lee V-neck (front and back) gown with a fitted bodice and A-line skirt featuring crystal-beaded lace and a crystal-beaded belt. She also wore her grandmother’s crystal necklace and carried a bouquet of white roses, purple calla lilies and purple and white status.
Valerie Beerbower of Dayton served as her sister’s matron of honor. Bridesmaids included Elisabeth Kelbley of Columbus and Lauren McFadden of Cleveland, friends of the couple; Samantha Hunt of Tiffin, sister-in-law of the bride; and Megan Cochran of Columbus, friend of the couple. They wore plum Bill Levkoff satin dresses of various designs and carried bouquets of white roses and purple status. Jeremy Baker of Cleveland was bridesman.
Craig Sewell of Indianapolis, Indiana, served as his brother’s best man. Groomsmen included Steven Haswell of Cincinnati and Adam Grove of Strasburg, friends of the couple; Brian Hunt of Tiffin, twin brother of the bride; Kevin Hunt of Columbus, brother of the bride; Mike Beerbower of Dayton, brother-in-law of the bride; and Jeremy Goehring of Bolivar, friend of the couple.
Sarah graduated in 2007 from Calvert High School, and in 2011 and 2015 from Ohio University. She is a pediatric resident at Akron Children’s Hospital.
Ryan graduated in 2006 from Strasburg High School, in 2010 from The Ohio State University and in 2013 from Ohio University. He is a physical therapist at Summa Barberton.
Val Beerbower and Samantha Hunt hosted a couple’s shower in April 2014. A rehearsal dinner was held at Pioneer Mill, Tiffin.
The couple lives in Medina.
