Leslie Vanneman and Samuel Echelberry were united in marriage at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, May 25, 2013, at Hope Lutheran Church, Fostoria, by the Rev. Larry Knigga. A reception followed at Stone Ridge Golf Club, Bowling Green.
Leslie is the daughter of Don Vanneman of Fairfield and Sue Fellers of Bowling Green.
Samuel is the son of Rod and Sue Echelberry of Fostoria.
Leslie, given in marriage by her father, wore a white satin, halter, A-line gown with pearl and diamond accents featuring a 1920s-style ballroom buckle. She wore a headpiece of diamonds and pearls and an elbow-length, beaded veil. She carried a bouquet of lilies.
Amanda Winslow of Bowling Green was her friend’s maid of honor. Allie Vanneman of Bowling Green and Stephanie Gaspar of Washington, D.C., sisters of the bride, were bridesmaids.
Mark Echelberry of Westerville was his brother’s best man. Groomsmen were Scott Gerritsen of Lakewood and Brad Buckinham of Sandusky, friends of the groom.
Lila Vanneman of Bowling Green, niece of the bride, was the flower girl. Ethan Vanneman of Maryland Heights, Mo., son of the bride, was the ring bearer.
Leslie is a 2003 graduate of Bowling Green High School and attended Owens Community College. She is the food and beverage director at Four Seasons Hotel, St. Louis, Mo.
Samuel is a 2005 graduate of Fostoria High School and a 2009 graduate of Ashland University. He is the food and beverage manager at Whitmore Country Club, Weldon Springs, Mo.
The rehearsal dinner was at the home of the groom’s parents.
The couple has planned a honeymoon trip for a later date. They live at 1824 Redcoat Drive, Maryland Heights, MO 63043.
