Whitney Collins and Dustin Woodward exchanged wedding vows at 3 p.m. June 8, 2013, in an outdoor ceremony at Riverbend Park, Findlay, with Derek Snyder officiating. A reception followed at the Humane Society Hall, Findlay.
The bride is the daughter of Jerry Collins of Tiffin and the late Cheri Weiker.
The groom is the son of Teresa and Steve Woodward of Findlay.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an ivory Alencon lace over gold vogue satin gown. The bodice featured a deep V-neckline, cap sleeves and a keyhole back with covered buttons. A wide scalloped edge of Alencon lace encircled the hemline of the gown and court train. She wore a cathedral-length veil edged with lace. She carried a bouquet of ivory roses, lace and vintage broaches.
Ashley Childress of Tiffin was her sister’s matron of honor.
Beau Woodward of Findlay was his brother’s best man.
Brinlynn Childress of Tiffin, niece of the bride, and Olivia Lenhart of Findlay, niece of the groom, were the flower girls.
The bride, a graduate of Old Fort High School, graduated from The University of Findlay in 2006 with a master’s degree in occupational therapy. She is employed by Concept Rehab and is director of rehab services at Otterbein Portage Valley.
The groom graduated from Liberty Benton High school and The School of Advertising Arts Dayton in 2002. He is a foreman for Harold Schuck Inc.
After a honeymoon in Maui, Hawaii, the couple resides in Findlay.
