Kelly Gosche and Shawn Brickner exchanged wedding vows at 1:30 p.m. Nov. 17, 2012, at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Bascom. The Rev. Timothy Kummerer was officiant during the double-ring service. A reception followed at Meadowbrook Park Ballroom, Bascom.
The bride is the daughter of Joe and Sue Gosche of rural Kansas.
The bridegroom is the son of Kerry and Jan Brickner of rural Tiffin.
The bride, given in marriage by her parents, wore an ivory taffeta, strapless, drop waist gown with a corset back and chapel-length train. Lace appliques edged with silver embroidery and beaded with Swarovski crystals, bugle beads, seed beads and sequins embellished the bodice. A fluted overlay created a side drape opening to reveal an embellished tulle inset edged with scalloped lace. She wore a chapel-length veil edged with bugle beads and highlighted with silver floral embroidery.
Julie Posey of rural Tiffin was her sister’s matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Renee Schumm of Kansas, Erica Hoffman of Fremont, Whitney Hartley of Fostoria and Rachel Brickner of Tiffin. They wore floor-length, eggplant-colored satin dresses. The strapless sweetheart bodice featured a ruched waist and a corset back.
Sidney and Lily Brickner, nieces of the groom, were flower girls. A.J. Gosche, nephew of the bride, was ring bearer.
Paul Mates of West Lafayette, Ind., was best man. Groomsmen were Andrew Brown of Fostoria, Craig Brickner of Alvada and Nathan Brickner and Brad Posey, both of Tiffin.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of Lakota High School and a 2007 graduate of Owens Community College. She is an occupational therapy assisant with P.T. Services and coaches JV volleyball at Lakota High School.
The groom, a 2004 graduate of Hopewell-Loudon High School, is a fireman for the city of Fremont and a volunteer for Bascom Joint Fire District.
The couple honeymooned in Jamaica.
