Sheena Marie Werling and Chance Lee Barthold exchanged wedding vows at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 12, 2012, at Lancaster Theater in Grapevine, Texas. Justice of the Peace Jason Brinkley officiated the double-ring ceremony. A reception followed at the same venue.

Sheena is the daughter of Tom Werling and Linda Peiffer, both of Fort Worth, Texas.

Chance is the son of Bobby and Tricia Barthold of Valley View, Texas.

Sheena, given in marriage by her parents, wore an ivory gown with a sweetheart neckline featuring lace cap sleeves, an open keyhole back and a sweeping train. She wore a matching lace veil and carried a clutch of blue gerber daisies, white daisies and white mini-calla lilies.

Erica Horman of Brunswick was her sister’s matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Candice Woods of Calgary, Calif., friend of the bride; Cori Thomason of Austin, Texas, sister of the groom; and Abby Barthold of Austin, Texas, sister of the groom.

Flower girl was Emily Horman, niece of the bride.

Jason Bewley of Fort Worth, Texas, was his best friend’s best man. Groomsmen were Keith Barthold of Gainesville, Texas, cousin of the groom; Thomas Ford of Denton, Texas, friend of the groom; and Canyon Ramsey of Austin, Texas, nephew of the groom.

Ring bearers were Trevor Horman, Wesley Horman and Cope Thomason, nephews of the bride and groom.

Sheena is a 2001 graduate of Calvert High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration in 2005 and a master’s degree in human relations in 2007 from The University of Oklahoma. She is a recruiter for Jacobs Engineering Group.

Chance is a 1999 graduate of Valley View High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from University of North Texas in 2005. He is a firefighter for the Fort Worth Fire Department.

The rehearsal dinner took place at Love and War, Grapevine, Texas.

Following a honeymoon trip to Maui and Kauai, Hawaii, the newlyweds reside in Fort Worth.
