Historic church gets a makeover | Advertiser-Tribune As Tiffin hosts the annual Heritage Festival, Pleasant Ridge United Methodist Church is wrapping up a restoration project that began the first week of June. Matt Moore and Josh Kidwell with Universal Historic Building Restoration of Tiffin did tuck pointing, weatherproofing, glazing and painting to the exterior. Moore said the work was to be finished this week. He said the lead bars holding the stained glass in place had deteriorated, causing the large windows to bow. The men had to apply pressure inside and out to realign the art and repair the leading.
