Gun show returns to area

Tiffin Gun Show, hosted by Seneca County Agricultural Society and Tiffin-Seneca Izaak Walton, is Saturday and Sunday at the Seneca County Fairgrounds, 100 Hopewell Ave.

Hours are 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday.

Vendor cost is $20 per 8-foot table and products must be guns, knives or related items. Setup is 4 p.m.-dark today.

Public admission is $4.

Science day scheduled

Franciscan Earth Literacy Center, 194 St. Francis Ave., is hosting a children’s science day 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Jan. 20.

Children are to learn what chemists do and explore the world of chemicals and how they interact with each other. They will find out when grape juice turns green, what makes the best bubble solution and more. They will discover a density tower and how to be chemists in the kitchen.

Kids should provide their own sack lunch. Cost is $18, and scholarships are available.
