Fostoria documentary to be previewed

FOSTORIA – Last September, local filmmakers Matt Erman and Rhonda Morrow of Capture1 Studios produced “The History of Fostoria, Volume I: Fostoria’s Firsts.” Now, they are to release “Volume II: Pieces of Our Past.”

The DVD goes on sale July 10 at a cost of $15, or $17 for Blu-ray.

A premiere night is to take place July 9 at Good Shepherd Home. Appetizers are to be served at 5:30 p.m., dinner at 6 p.m. and a screening of the documentary is after dinner. The cost is $30, which includes a copy of the DVD.

Volumes I and II of “The History of Fostoria” can be purchased at Good Shepherd, Bookshelf II, the Fostoria Chamber of Commerce and Your Kids Closet. A third volume, “Rail Town Mysteries,” is set for release in October.
