Family Fest forum Friday
The Family Fest Committee has scheduled an informational meeting at noon Friday at the Community Hospice Care office, 181 E Perry St..
This is for anyone interested in participating with Family Fest April 5.
New Transitions Counseling in Tiffin is sponsoring a workshop, “Understanding Drug or Alcohol Addiction and Family Recovery,” 9-10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Campus Center at Heidelberg University.
The seminar is free.
Those concerned about a loved one’s drinking or drug use are invited to attend and receive tips on how to handle such behavior. Joanne Kosta, licensed mental health and substance abuse counselor, is to be the presenter.

Arts council to meet Saturday
FOSTORIA – Fostoria Community Arts Council is to have its annual meeting at 9 a.m. Saturday in the main office at 125 S. Main St., Fostoria.
Vintage photos to be shown
SYCAMORE – The Sycamore Post 250 Sons of the American Legion and the Mohawk Historical Society are to present “Wings and a Picture Show” Saturday at the hall, 125 S. Sycamore Ave., Sycamore.
Wings and fries will be served 5-7 p.m. at a cost of $9. In tandem, the Mohawk Historical Society will present a “big screen” picture show 5-7:30 p.m., featuring vintage photographs of the Sycamore, Melmore, McCutchenville, Berwick, Mexico, Belle Vernon, Plankton, Deunquat, Benton, Smithville and Tymochtee areas.
Gather ’round, Civil War fans
The Johnson’s Island Civil War Round Table is to meet at 7 p.m. Sunday at T.J. Willie’s, 738 W. Market St. During the program, “Look, Listen, Learn” members will describe how they became interested in the war.
An optional “chat and dine” hour is to begin at 5:15 p.m.

FOSTORIA – Good Shepherd Home is to host its sixth annual Scrapbook Day 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday.
