Fair trade shop open this week

From 5-8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, the fair trade shop at St. John’s United Church of Christ, 10 Main St., will be open. All are welcome to

purchase merchandise from all over the world for gift giving.

The products are sold at prices that provide

fair wages to the impoverished crafters who made them.

Bead party returning to NCOESC

Seneca Mentoring Youth Links has planned another bead party 3-8 p.m. Thursday at North Central Ohio Educational Service Center, 928 W. Market St.

Thousands of glass beads, charms and spacers are to be available to make bracelets for $10 each. Then, wrap the new creations for gift-giving. Participants can drop in any time or stay for the entire session.

Complimentary refreshments will be served.

Proceeds from the party are to benefit Seneca County Mentoring Youth Links.

Last day for toys, coats giveaway

CLYDE – Thursday is the final day of the holiday toy and coat giveaway at the Clyde Backdoor Food Pantry on McPherson Highway, Clyde. Hours are 9 a.m.-noon and 4-6 p.m.
