Community Action for Reducing Substance Abuse is to present “Living Life Sober” 6:30-8 p.m. Wednesday at North Central Ohio Educational Service Center, 928 W. Market St.
This moderated panel is to feature people recovering from substance abuse. Light refreshments are to be served at this free program.
Fish, chicken on menu
Tiffin Kiwanis Club is to serve an all-you-can-eat fish and chicken dinner, 4:30-7 p.m. Saturday, at
Kiwanis Manor, 7 W. Market St.
Cost is $8 for adults and $5 for children 10 and younger.
Group serving breakfast
The Sons of the AmVets are to serve a breakfast buffet 9-11:30 a.m. Sunday at the Tiffin AmVets hall on SR 100.
The cost is $5 for adults and $2.50 for children for all you can eat.
Auxiliary plans fundraiser
FOSTORIA – The Fostoria Community Hospital Auxiliary Craft Show and Vendor Fair is set for 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday at Wesley United Methodist Church, 1200 Van Buren St., Fostoria.
Items for sale include jewelry, handbags, cosmetics, doll clothes, baked goods, crocheted baby items and other merchandise. A lunch is to be available for purchase.

Wellness Extravaganza coming to St. Francis
St. Francis Senior Ministries is to host a Wellness Extravaganza 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Oct. 9 at Elizabeth Schaefer Apartments Auditorium, 190 St. Francis Ave.
Information sessions are planned for 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. A lunch stand is to be open, and health testing and screenings are to be available.

Children can make fall art
FOSTORIA – The Fostoria Community Arts Council is to host a children’s fall workshop 10 a.m.-noon Oct. 12 at the FCAC offices, 125 S. Main St., Fostoria.
Cheryl Graves is to conduct this free workshop for children grades 1-5. A variety of fall projects are to be available.

Vendors wanted for show
St. Francis Home is looking for vendors to participate in its annual craft show 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Oct. 11 and 12.
Eight-foot tables are available at $10 per table for one day or $18 per table for two days. Vendors participating both days may leave their crafts overnight.
Proceeds from the table sales for the craft show are going to the St. Francis Home Life Enrichment Department.
Baked goods are to be for sale, as well as wreaths, jewelry, quilts, towels and apple butter.
