Dig in:?Fish is on the menu

Calvert Elementary School is having a fish fry 5-7 p.m. Friday in the school cafeteria. Dinner includes four pieces of fish, fries, roll, cole slaw and beverage at a cost of $6.50 for adults and $4.50 for children. Grilled cheese and tomato soup also will be served.

Carry-outs are available.

Kiwanis Manor, 7 W. Market St., is to host an all-you-can-eat fish or chicken dinner 4:30-7 p.m. March 1 and 16.

Cost is $8 for adults and $5 for those 10 and younger.

Senior center putting together trips

Allen Eiry Center is offering four trips in the coming months. They include:

A trip to Toronto May 28-31, which includes tickets for Andrew Lloyd Webber’s new stage production of “The Wizard of Oz.” Cost per person is $899 for double occupancy. Payment is due April 20.

New England and Canada cruise aboard the Queen Mary 2, June 30-July 6. See July 4 fireworks in Boston Harbor, tour the Delaware Water Gap, Boston and Halifax, Nova Scotia. The cost per person is $2,927 for double oceanview stateroom. Payment is due by March 8.

Indianapolis tour, Aug. 21-23, including Indianapolis

Motor Speedway, dinner theater performance of “Father of the Bride” and other attractions. Cost is $519 per person for double occupancy. Deposit of $100 is due and the balance by July 15.

The Hamptons and Newport, R.I., Sept. 9-13. Lots of shopping and sight-seeing. Cost is $1,399 per person for double occupancy. Deposit of $100 is due at registration and the balance by Aug. 3.

Pottery classes to begin at St. Francis

Sister Jane Omlor is to direct adult pottery classes 6:30-8:30 p.m. March 6 to May 8 in her studio at St. Francis. The cost is $150.

Students to play chamber music

Calvert High School is to present a Chamber Music Concert at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the school gym. The free concert is to feature original music by Calvert students.
