Italian food on menu at Knights of Columbus

Tiffin Knights of Columbus, 49 E. Perry St., is to serve an Italian dinner 5-7:30 p.m. Friday. Choose from spaghetti and meatballs or lasagna.

Kids Choir to perform

The Tiffin University Kids Choir is to present its annual spring concert Saturday in the Gillmor Student Center’s Osceola Theatre on the TU campus. In order to accommodate the growing audiences, the choir is to present identical performances, with the first show at 7 p.m. and the second show at 7:30 p.m.

Admission is free.

Directed by Ali Rees and Kris Santos, the choir is open to Tiffin area children in grades 2-8. The after-school choir specializes in popular music styles and is sponsored by Tiffin University.

Gospel show on tap

Marlene Vance is to host a CD release concert 4-7:30 p.m. Saturday at Cool Creation Restaurant, 706 S. Sandusky St.

Other gospel singers slated to perform include Arda Beekman, Paula Barron and the Cornerstone Gospel Quartet.

‘Moonlight and Magnolias’ to be performed in Findlay

FINDLAY – Those who missed The Ritz Players’ production of “Moonlight and Magnolias” have another chance to see the play this weekend at Fort Findlay Playhouse.

The comedy portrays the writing of the screenplay for the classic film, “Gone With the Wind.”

Performances are at 8 p.m. today through Saturday and 5 p.m. Sunday at 300 W. Sandusky St., Findlay.

Bridal, prom exhibition set for site in Sycamore

SYCAMORE – A Bridal and Prom Expo is to take place 1-3 p.m. Sunday in the Sycamore Community Center, 3498 SR 103, Sycamore.

Vendors will have bridal party gifts for sale and many ideas for weddings and proms on display. Door prizes are to be awarded and a grand prize raffle is to take place.

Brides-to-be are admitted free. General admission is $2.

Dance concert planned

FINDLAY – “The Pointe of the Evening” fundraiser is slated for Saturday in Winebrenner Auditorium at The University of Findlay. A silent auction is set for 6:30 p.m., with a performance at 7:30 p.m. by students from the Findlay Academy of Ballet.

Tickets are $12 pre-sale and $15 at the door.
