Terra collaboration leads to ‘8’ presentation

FREMONT – A new arts partnership has begun between Bowling Green State University/Firelands and Terra State Community College. This collaboration brings opportunities to develop students’ hands-on, job-based learning in production, theater, music and arts

management, according to a news release.

Terra State is to present the BGSU Firelands Theatre presentation of the play “8” at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Recital Hall of the Arts and Health Technologies Center (Building D) at Terra State, 2830 Napoleon Road, Fremont.

“8” is a documentary play by Dustin Lance Black about the federal case for marriage equality. Following the performance, there will be a question-and-answer session with the cast and a panel of marriage equality advocates.

Admission is $10 for the general public and free for students with a valid ID.
