Comedy beginning run in Findlay today
FINDLAY – The comedy, “Leaving Iowa” by Tim Clue and Spike Manton, opens at 8 p.m. today on the Fort Findlay Playhouse stage.
The main character is Don Browning, who tries to honor his father’s wishes by depositing his ashes at his childhood home. When Don discovers Grandma’s house is now a grocery store, he begins traveling Iowa searching for a proper resting place for his father. “Leaving Iowa” is a postcard to anyone who has ever drove alone on a road, revisiting fond memories of youth.
Additional performances are 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 5 p.m. Sunday at the theater, 300 W. Sandusky St., Findlay.
