Halloween parade in the works
Tiffin Developmental Center has announced the Tiffin University Dragon mascot is to serve as grand marshal of its 47th annual Halloween Parade.
The parade is to begin at 2 p.m. Oct. 20 on the TDC campus, 600 N. River Road. An awards ceremony is to take place in the gym after the parade.
Those wishing to enter a parade unit can call (419) 443-3116 before Oct. 10.
Heidelberg faculty to perform
Heidelberg University vocal and instrumental music faculty are to collaborate for the fall Faculty Gala at 4 p.m. Sunday in Brenneman Music Hall on campus.
Gala performers include Melissa Bosma, oboe; Margarita Denenburg, piano; Carol Dusdieker, soprano; Ioana Galu, violin; Scott Kretzer, percussion; and Eric Rutherford, bassoon.
The program includes “Prelude Op. 23, No. 6” by Sergi Rachmaninov with Denenburg; “Sonata for Oboe and Bassoon” by Alessandro Besozzi featuring Bosma and Rutherford; “Cantabile for Violin and Piano” and “Banjo and Fiddle for Violin and Piano” by Nicolo Raganini with Galu and Denenburg; “Blade” by Benjamin Finley with Kretzer; and “I Hate Music! A Cycle of Five Kid Songs” by Leonard Bernstein featuring Dusdieker and Denenburg.
The concert is free.

FREMONT – “Every Little Crook and Nanny” returns to the Fremont Community Theatre stage at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. The theater is at 1551 Dickinson St., Fremont.

Drama continues in Bucyrus
BUCYRUS – The drama “Twelve Angry Men” concludes its run at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Bucyrus Little Theatre, 130 Songer Ave., Bucyrus.

Actors needed for ‘Brighton Beach’
FREMONT Fremont Community Theatre is hosting open auditions for Neil Simon’s “Brighton Beach Memoirs” at 7 p.m. Sunday and Monday at the theater, 1551 Dickinson St., Fremont.
The cast includes one male and two females in their late 30s or early 40s; two teenage boys to play characters ages 15 and 18; and two teenage girls to play characters ages 13 and 16.
Production dates are Dec. 6-8 and 13-15.
Wrestling show to return
National Wrestling Association/Sports Entertainment Wrestling is bringing “Roadwars 4” to Tiffin at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 12 at the Tiffin Developmental Center gym, 600 N. River Road.
Wrestlers scheduled to appear include AJ Snow, Jason Franchise, Christian Black, Joe Bruizer, Jonathon “The Boss” Hampton, Malice, The Renegades, Stormy, Twisted and more. Making his NWA-SEW debut, Ernie Ballz is to face off against another new-comer, Dusty Dillinger.
Tickets are $10 at the door, with gates opening at 4:30 p.m.
