FNL offers 2 singers
Friday Night Live is set for 7:30 p.m. Friday in The National Theatre at The Ritz, 30 S. Washington St. The artists for May are the Pete Ford Trio of Adrian, Mich., and Kerry Patrick Clark of Whitehouse.

Collegians to play
The Heidelberg University Singing Collegians are to give a concert at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday in Gundlach Theatre. Directed by Paul Mayhew, this show choir dances and performs Broadway, jazz and popular music.
Admission is “pay what you wish.”
Eiry trip in the works
The Allen Eiry Senior Center in Tiffin is taking registrations for an Indianapolis tour Aug 21-23. It includes two nights’ lodging, two breakfasts, dinner theater tickets for “Father of the Bride,” a sightseeing tour and stops at the famous speedway, a car factory, Harrison presidential site and Connor Prairie.
The cost is $519 per person for double occupancy. A deposit of $100 is needed to reserve a seat, with the balance due by July 15.

Auditions on tap
FREMONT – Fremont Community Teen Theater is to produce the Tony Award-winning musical “Gentlemen Prefer Blondes” June 27-30. Auditions for students ages 13-19 are set for 6:30-8:30 p.m. Sunday and Monday at the theater, 1551 Dickinson St., Fremont.
Applicants should prepare 16 bars of a musical theater vocal selection.
Set in the Roaring Twenties, the show follows the madcap adventures of the all-American “dumb blonde,” Lorelei Lee from Little Rock. She and her best friend and chaperone, Dorothy Shaw, set sail for Europe on the Ile De France in hopes of landing millionaire husbands.

‘Fiddler on the Roof’ coming to Findlay
FINDLAY – Fort Findlay Playhouse is staging the musical “Fiddler on the Roof” at 8 p.m. today and Saturday and 5 p.m. Sunday in the theater at 300 W. Sandusky St., Findlay.
Set in Anatevka, Russia, the story follows a Jewish family trying to adhere to its traditions.

Ritz casts comedy
For the next two weekends, the Ritz Players are to present “Five Women Wearing the Same Dress” by Alan Ball. Performances are at 7:30 p.m. May 10, 11 and 18 and 2 p.m. May 19 in The National Theatre at The Ritz.
The comedy concerns five bridesmaids who have misgivings about attending a lavish wedding reception. They have camped out in an upstairs bedroom to compose themselves to make an appearance.
Portraying the women are Nancy Derby of Bloomville, Angie Smith of Clyde, Mandy Wolber of Findlay and Tiffinites Michelle Castleman and Amy Berger. Lukas Frey of Upper Sandusky is cast as the “charming, bad-boy usher” who hooks up with one of the bridesmaids.
Nancy Betz is directing, with Wolber as assistant director.
Tickets are $11 for adults and $7 for seniors and students.
