Two more chances to see Ritz Players show
The Ritz Players are to give two more performances of Alan Ball’s “Five Women Wearing the Same Dress” at 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday in The National Theatre at The Ritz.
This adult comedy is for mature audiences. Tickets are $11 for adults and $7 for students.

Del Turco program
The Seneca County Museum Docents are to host “English Cottages and Country Gardens” at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in the Fort Ball Room at Seneca County Museum, 28 Clay St., Tiffin. This is part of a series of “2013 Sundays at the Museum” events.
The program is to consist of a video followed by a presentation by Janet del Turco. A Tiffin Master Gardener, Del Turco writes a weekly column for The Advertiser-Tribune, and she will share her gardening tips and experiences acquired during her time living in England.

‘Bee’ auditions on tap
Open auditions for “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” are to take place at 6:30 p.m. Sunday and Monday at The Ritz Theatre, 30 S. Washington St. Production dates for the musical are July 12, 13, 20 and 21 at The Ritz.
There are roles for five men and four women (must be 18 or older). Everyone who auditions should bring a prepared song and may be asked to sing a musical number from the score. An accompanist will be provided.

BUCYRUS – “Nunsense” is to take over the stage at Bucyrus Little Theatre for three more shows at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday. The theatre is at 130 Songer Ave., Bucyrus.

‘Whipping Man’ adds shows in Columbus
COLUMBUS – Two performances of “The Whipping Man” have been added, at 8 p.m. Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday, in the Jewish Community Center, 1125 College Ave., Columbus.
Chris Tucci, assistant professor of theater at Heidelberg University, is cast as Caleb in this Civil War drama.

FINDLAY – To prepare for its 62nd season of summer concerts, Findlay Civic Band is to rehearse 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Egner Center for Performing Arts at the University of Findlay.
The band also will practice every Tuesday to prepare for concerts July 3, 10 and 17 in the Allan Dudley Bandshell. Some instruments are available for loan at no charge.

Fremont talent show seeks participants
FREMONT – The fourth annual “Fremont’s Got Talent” show is set for Aug. 11. Applications for the competition are being accepted through July 7 from amateur performers residing in Sandusky, Seneca, Wood, Ottawa and Erie counties.
The winner is to receive $1,000. The second-place award is $600, the third is $400 and the top youth is to receive $300.
