Attica soldier cast in video
The Baltimore-based quintet, The Secret State, has recorded a video for their new single, “Fight Or Flight.” Shot at Fort Irwin in California at multiple locations on the U.S. Army’s National Training Center, the video stars active duty soldiers, including Spc. Daniel Radebaugh from Attica.
“Fight Or Flight” is a song about a patrol on deployment in Afghanistan and its homecoming. Speedy Bagheri, the band’s executive producer, and The Secrete State set out to pay tribute to the U.S. military and to give the world a visceral understanding of what soldiers face in combat overseas.
The 10 active-duty soldiers featured in the video are members of the 11th Armored Cavalry at Fort Irwin. Known as the Blackhorse Regiment, this unit was activated in 1901.
A behind-the-scenes preview video already has been viewed about 3 million times since its April 9 release. It can be viewed at www.youtube.com/zUYymeLTndM.
